Tracy Lydiatt is an accomplished sustainability and mining innovation professional with over 15 years of experience spanning exploration geology, strategic sustainability leadership, entrepreneurship, and circular economy innovation. She specializes in helping organizations navigate complex sustainability challenges through strategic planning, facilitation, and innovation-driven partnerships. Tracy holds a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership Towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of British Columbia. Her master’s thesis, “Sustainable Mining? Applying the Framework for Strategic Sustainable Development to Mining Projects,” reflects her long-standing expertise in bridging sustainability science with resource sector realities.

As Manager of Mining Innovation at Foresight Canada, Tracy led the BC Net Zero Innovation Network’s Mining Cluster, where she advanced cross-sector collaboration, decarbonization, and technology adoption across BC’s mining industry. Previously, she served as Managing Director of the Textile Lab for Circularity, leading strategic partnerships, funding initiatives, and training programs to accelerate the circular economy transition. Earlier, as Sustainable Development Project Leader at Hatch, she guided global sustainability reporting, policy development, and employee training initiatives. A three-time TEDx speaker, award-winning author of Your Green Family Blueprint, and recipient of the Woman of Worth – Sustainable Living Award, Tracy is widely recognized for her ability to translate sustainability frameworks into actionable business strategy. Her consulting experience spans mining, food systems, green building, and textile sectors, with proven skills in business development, facilitation, KPI design, and sustainability reporting (GRI).
